ADHD is the reason for your inability to concentrate
Your child's inattentive behavior during studies is due to this
More often than not some parents complain that their child is not concentrating on studies. This always leads them to attribute this habit to mischievousness and, at times, lack of intelligence.
However, this is not always the case.
A great deal of the studies has been done in this area where the results show that one of the reasons for lack of concentration is due to Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder commonly known as ADHD.
This disorder is likely to begin in childhood and can continue into adolescence. Children with this disorder are more active and inattentive than other children their age, they have a reflex condition.
As a result, many children face difficulties, especially at school, while they also struggle with many problems at home including in society. The mental condition can affect 3 to 5% of school-age children. Regardless of the hard work, unlike other kids, teenagers with ADHD are not able to focus and sudden change of nature creates troubles for them.
The World Health Organization estimates that at least 10 million people worldwide suffer from inattention. Children with ADHD may be hyperactive and may not be able to control their effects or may find hard concentrating on anything. ADHD is rather more common in girls than in boys and typically occurs in the early stages of school because a child with a mental health condition has difficulty concentrating on education during this period.
Virtually every psychiatric educational, and medical institution in the United States has come to conclude that attention deficit hyperactivity disorder is a real mental disorder and thus conducted numerous researches.
A study found that psychiatric treatment is more efficacious than medicine to get rid of this mental condition.
ADHD can be hereditary as about 25% of parents also have symptoms of the disease, and can also be due to environmental or even genetic factors. Nonetheless, some risk factors such as the spread of toxic effects in the mother’s womb or the side effects of medications used during premature birth or motherhood can lead to ADHD as well.
