Karachi: Changan Alsvin production was initiated by Master Changan Motors Limited. Pakistan’s first Smart Euro-5 Sedan Vehicle. The line-off occasion for the first CKD unit took place at the company’s state-of-the-art factory on 14 December 2020.
Master Motors Limited has been into a joint venture for the last ten years in a row with Changan Automobiles – China’s number one domestic car brand.
Danial Malik, CEO of Master Changan Motors, said, “Alsvin provides Pakistani customers with an impressive range of automotive technology that is being introduced in Pakistan for the first time.” These include the first Euro5 engine in Pakistan, Dual-Clutch Automatic Transmission, Start-Stop Technology (SST), Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Cruise Control, and a Human Machine Interface (HMI) of 7 inches.
The company has spent an extra $36 million to launch the Changan Alsvin in Pakistan following an initial investment of $100 million and plans to introduce more exciting versions in the year 2021.
