Karachi: A well-known Pakistani actress, Bushra Ansari finally opened up about annulling her 36-year marriage in a web show.
According to details, she explained the reason for the end of her 36-year marriage with producer Iqbal Ansari.
The couple got married in 1978 and they have two daughters Nariman Ansari and Meera Ansari.
However, she got married for the second time to actor and director Iqbal Hussain.
She revealed that the decision to divorce her husband after 36 years of marriage was her own. She also spoke about the circumstances that made her take such a big decision of her life.
The actress said that one thing her parents did was to give her the right to divorce her husband.
“By the time we realized we found ourselves already plunged into the endless pit of problems and realized, we couldn’t live together. But it was too late because the kids were going to school,” she said.
She shared how she found herself often caught up in the thought that if the currect time is difficult, or would it be unbearable after the divorce.
The actress said that she remained silent because of her two daughters and the problems she might suffer after divorce or in the second marriage. “Life must be endured and we have lived like this for 36 years” she added.
