Karachi: Fawad Alam, the middle-order batsman of the national team, scored a century in the fourth innings against New Zealand and won many unique awards.
The ICC lauded Fawad Alam’s performance and wrote on Twitter.

In the fourth innings on the last day of the Mount Maunganui Test between Pakistan and New Zealand, Fawad Alam scored a magnificent century after 11 years, the second Test century of his career. Earlier, Fawad Alam had scored a 100 in his Test debut in 2009.

Fawad Alam also became the national wicket-taker in the fourth innings outside Asia.
Fawad Alam was on the wicket for more than 360 minutes which is the longest time by any Pakistani batsman.
