Karachi: Sindh Health Minister, Azra Fazal Pechuho, opposed the decision to open schools and asked the federal government to provide Covid vaccine soon.
She warned that the coronavirus is spreading fast, which is why it is inevitable to start a vaccination campaign.
Azra Fazal Pechuho called the decision to open educational institutions is not right in the current situation.
Sindh Health Minister while addressing a press conference with Dr. Iqbal Chaudhry informed, ‘our country will be the last one to get the vaccine’.
The Sindh Health Minister further showed her resentment over the fact that there is still 70 to 80 percent of people who need to get vaccinated.
“The virus is spreading rapidly in Karachi and Hyderabad, making the situation even more critical to open educational institutions, we need to think wisely whether we should open them or not,” the Health Minister said.
