Karachi: Another 1,594 cases of Coronavirus reported in Pakistan while 39 people died of the disease. Virtually 11,295 people have lost their battle against covid ever since the eruption of corona while 532,412 people contracted the virus so far.
According to National Command Operation Center (NCOC), there are 34,628 active cases in the country. In Sindh province, 469 more cases, 4 patients died and the total number reached 3,892. In Punjab province, 485 new cases, 24 more patients died and the number rose to 4,561.
Another 342 people were infected and 6 more died in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The number reached one thousand 832.
In Balochistan province, 21 cases, one civilian death, 193 deaths.
In Islamabad, 84 cases, 2 more patients died, bringing the total number to 465.
In Azad Kashmir, 25 more affected, 2 patients died, the number reached 254.
2 new cases in Gilgit-Baltistan, no casualties, the total number remains at 102.
Health ministry officials said that Pakistan has returned to pre-November 10 conditions since the rate of positive cases has come down significantly for the first time, amid the second wave of covid in Pakistan.
