The clash ensued between Indian and Chinese troops in the Indian-occupied disputed region of North Sikkim leaving numerous Indian soldiers defeated. The incident initially took place last Wednesday, in which Chinese troops had washed away Indian troops.

According to Indian media, the Indian Army Chief confirmed the incident. However, to save his army from embarrassment, he twisted the narrative and said that a small incident took place and the matter was resolved.
According to China, the Sikkim region is part of Chinese territory which India has unlawfully occupied.
In the Ladakh area last June, almost 20 Indian soldiers died in a clash.
