‘life has been very difficult for me after separating from royal family’, says Prince Harry
LOS ANGELES: Prince Harry revealed the phase of removing himself from royal life has become very complicated for him and his partner, Meghan.
In an interview with Oprah Winfrey, Harry referenced the memory of his late mother, Princess Diana, who had to find her way alone after she and Prince Charles had separated.
“I’m really so relieved and thankful to be sitting here talking to you with my wife at my side because I can’t begin to imagine what it would have been like for her to go through this ordeal on her own all those years ago,” said Harry, adding, “and it’s been really painful for both of us.”
Harry and Meghan stood across from Winfrey and side-by-side, raising their hands during an interview that took place in a lush garden setting. The couple lives in Montecito, California, where they’re Winfrey’s neighbors. Meghan, who recently revealed that she was pregnant with her second child, wearing an empire-style black embroidery coat.
Like Meghan Markle, the star appeared in the TV legal thriller “Suits.” She married Queen Elizabeth II’s grandson at Windsor Castle in May 2018, and her son, Archie, was born a year later.
