Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tried to avoid intervening in the escalating negotiations on the dissolution of the British empire on Tuesday.
Trudeau commented on the latest shocking assertions made by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on Sunday in a suspenseful sit-down interview with talk show host Oprah Winfrey.
Trudeau informed that his government would not participate in constitutional negotiations over the dismantling of the monarchy, as Canada was confronted with an unparalleled economic disorder in the middle of the already raging COVID-19 pandemic.

“Obviously, I hope all the members of the Royal Family the best. But my attention, as we said, is on getting through this global epidemic,” he said.
Trudeau added, “If people want to later talk about constitutional change and shifting our system of government, that’s fine.”
He continued, “They can have those conversations. But right now, I’m not having those conversations.”
Previously on Sunday, in a broadcast interview with Oprah Winfrey, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex charged some members of the British royal family of raising questions about the color of their son Archie’s skin and refusing him the title of a prince as well as the protection allowance.
