ISLAMABAD: As the positivity ratio reaches 8%, the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) will make essential decisions today, the NCOC will meet on Monday.
The aim of this meeting will be to make crucial decisions about the country’s potential course of action in light of the worsening coronavirus situation.
Considering the current increase in coronavirus reports and an over 8% positivity score, the meeting is expected to vote on extending the use of smart lockdowns to more places around the world.
According to reports, most of the schools where tests are taking place are violating the government’s coronavirus standard operating procedures (SOPs).

With this in mind, the coronavirus control agency will look at school closures and the execution of planned tests.
The coronavirus control group will also recommend placing the most virus-affected areas in the federal capital city and other provinces in the red zone.
Pakistan is now struggling with the third wave of coronavirus, which health experts say is more deadly and harmful.
The cumulative number of COVID-19 cases in the world had risen to 630,471 as of March 22, with 3,669 new infections.
In the last 24 hours, 43,498 experiments were performed around the world, with 20 people succumbing to the disease.
So far, 583,538 people in the world have recovered from the outbreak.
Today, the positivity ratio is 8.43 percent.
