Petrol price reduced by Rs1.79 in Pakistan

Prime Minister Imran Khan has authorized a cut in petrol rates, according to Federal Minister of Finance Hammad Azhar.

The government has cut the price of petrol by Rs1.79, and it will now be available at 108.56 a litre beginning April 16.

The premier has also allowed lowering the prices of other petroleum goods, according to Azhar, who added that High-Speed Diesel (HSD) will be available at Rs110.76 per litre after a Rs 2.32 reduction.

After a Rs2.06 price cut, kerosene will be available at Rs80 per litre, while light diesel oil will be available at Rs77.65 per litre.
