Karachi: PTI Chairman Imran Khan approached the Supreme Court on Thursday to investigate the audio leaks.
In the petition filed by Imran Khan in the Supreme Court, a judicial commission or JIT has been requested to investigate the audio leaks.
It has been said in the petition that surveillance of the Prime Minister’s house and office, data recording and audio leaks should be declared illegal.
In the request of Imran Khan, it is said that the government and the relevant authorities should be ordered to stop the leakage of more audios.
The ministries of Defence, Interior, IT, Information, PEMRA, Intelligence Bureau and FIA have been named as the respondents in the petition by Imran Khan.
The PTI chief had announced his intention to approach the apex court following audio leaks. Khan had asked to form a JIT to investigate which intelligence agency is involved in the “bugging” of the PM House and Office.
