The Chief Minister of Punjab, Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has tightened the security for the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf PTI leadership.
Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf (PTI) has decided to continue their long march from Wazirabad to Rawalpindi again.
Last time, during their match PTI leader Imran Khan was shot by an unknown gunman in the leg.
He got wounded along with other PTI officials.
Now that Khan’s long march is beginning again, the security issues are being addressed seriously.
Chief Minister of Punjab, Parvez Elahi has ordered foolproof security arrangements from Wazirabad to Rawalpindi.
He has ordered the Punjab police to provide high security to the PTI leaders and participants.
He said that there will be no compromise on the security of PTI leadership at any cost.
He also suggested that Imran Khan must use bulletproof container with a glass shield to stay secure.
He added that Punjab government would provide absolute support in this matter.
Parvez Elahi demanded that snipers should be placed on the rooftops of buildings along the route of the long march.
