Joe Biden meets Chinese President Xi Jinping for the first time after he got elected as a president of United States of America
The relationship between the superpowers America and China have seen many ups and down, and it has been going down since the reign of former president Donald Trump.
Both the presidents of the superpower will come face to face for the first time in person.
They will meet on the Indonesian Island of Bali ahead of G20 summit which gathers leaders from all over the world.
It is expected that both presidents will discuss matters relating to their economies, economic relationships, Russia and Ukraine war and North Korea’s nuclear ambitions.
American President Joe Biden said about Xi Jinping to the reporters after the victory in mid term elections, “I know I’m coming in stronger but I don’t need that. I know Xi Jinping, I spent more time with him than any other world leader.”
He further added, “there’s never any miscalculation about … where each of us stands.”
However, this meeting might not bring any concrete results according to the White House, but it could bring stability in economy ties.
