Fifty-Fifty star, Ismail Tara dies in Karachi
Ismail Tara, a well-known actor and comedian, passed away in Karachi on Thursday after experiencing kidney issues, according to sources.
The renowned artist died at the age of 73.
etails indicated that he was receiving care at a private hospital in the port city. On Thursday morning, the renowned actor was placed on a ventilator.
After Friday prayer (today), his funeral prayer will be offered in the city. Ismail Tara left his wife, four boys, and a daughter behind for them to grieve.
Ismail was born in Karachi on November 16, 1949, and has been performing since 1980. He has participated in several theatre productions, films, and TV shows.
With the television programme Fifty Fifty, he gained notoriety and multiple Nagar Awards.
Murad Ali Shah, the chief minister of Sindh, expressed his sorrow on the passing of the well-known comedian. He continued, “Ismail Tara’s artistic contributions will always be remembered.”
He prayed for the deceased soul’s forgiveness as well.
