Pakistan International Airlines Increases Ticket Fares

Pakistan International Airlines and private airlines have jacked up ticket prices, both domestic and international. the reason for this price hike is because of a huge gap between supply and demand.

Furthermore, Pakistan international airlines increased the prices because of the holiday season as well. Christmas, Winter, and New Years’ holidays are right around the corner and during that time, flight prices increase all over the world.

However, the main reason apart from the holidays still remains a gap between supply and demand. Domestic tickets price has taken a huge hike.

The one-way fare of the PIA flight from Karachi to Islamabad is around Rs.36,000 and the return ticket will make it Rs.72,000.

In a similar way, The one-way fare of the Air Blue flight from Karachi to Islamabad is around Rs.35,000 and the return ticket will make it Rs.70,000.

Moreover, similar situation is found in case of Serene Airlines. The one-way fare of the Serene Airlines flight from Karachi to Islamabad is around Rs.38,000 and the return ticket will make it Rs.65,000.

Air Sial’s one-way fare from Karachi to Islamabad is Rs45,000 and return tickets have gone up to Rs80,000.

The passengers, travellers, and tourists are not happy with this condition as it has made traveling quite expensive during the time of inflation.

However, it is expected that after holidays the ticket prices will come down significantly but analysts suggest that it might not make much difference.
