1-Mera Dil Ye Pukaray Aaja sensation:
One of the most viral videos on the internet is a dance of a Pakistani girl, Ayesha Mano who danced on ‘Mera Dil Yeh Pukaray Aaja’ which is an Indian Lata Mangeshkar song. The video went viral on Instagram after it was posted on November 11th.
Ayesha is seen dressed in green and dancing to her friend’s wedding. People immediately got addicted to the video and started recreating it.
2-Kaala Chashma Fever:
Kaala Chashma is a famous song from the film Baar Baar Dekho starring Katrina Kaif and Siddharth Malhotra and the song was pretty popular because of its catchy hook steps.
However, an urban hip-hop group from Norway known as Quickstyle just made it ultra popular after they performed on Kaala chashma at a wedding in June 2022.
Their dance style went viral quickly on Instagram and TikTok and now the group performs the song everywhere they go. Many celebrities recreated their dance routine.
3. Will Smith’s Slap to Chris Rock
During the 94th Academy Awards in March 2022, popular actor Will Smith went on the stage and slapped Chris Rock across the face for cracking a joke against his wife, Jada Pinkett.
Chris made a joke about Jada’s bald head which she keeps shaved because of alopecia.
Chris Rock took the slap well and continued his performance. It became a viral meme and gained mixed reviews from people. Some people supported Will for standing up for his wife while others thought it was an overreaction.
4: Johnny Depp / Amber Heard’s Public Defamation Case
The public hearing of Johhny Depp and Amber Heard’s defamation case from April to June 2022 became a public discussion across all social media platforms.
Amber Heard accused Johnny of physically and sexually assaulting her. Depo accused her of the same. However, in the end, the court decided in favor of Depp because of his strong evidence and huge support from his fans. Heard was found guilty and had to pay.
People’s reactions were divided. Many supported Depp and many supported Amber heard too but only one of them came out with a victory.
