Hazim Bangwar is the New Internet Sensation

The latest online star is Hazim Bangwar, the new assistant commissioner for Karachi’s North Nazimabad. After the officer announced his new post on social media, several people delved into Bangwar’s personal life and uploaded photos on the microblogging platform.

Bangwar came to Twitter last week to post photos from the office. “It’s an honour to serve you as your new Assistant Commissioner,” the tweet said.

Sana Tariq Syed, the assistant commissioner of Liquatabad, confirmed the news on Instagram and congratulated the newest member of their team.

“To everyone who has asked, Hazim Bangwar is the new AC North Nazimabad. He is an artist and a skilled musician, but he is also a competent, industrious, financially and morally sound officer – a feat that few of us can claim. “District Central is thrilled to have him,” she posted on Instagram.

“North Nazimabad, it’s an honour to serve you as your new Assistant Commissioner,” Bangwar recently tweeted.

Many people are curious about Bangwar since he is so different from his friends.

BIOGRAPHY:

Bangwar, who was born on December 30, 1993 in Karachi, relocated to New York and attended Midwood High School. His mother, Feroze Akbar, is an architect by trade from Iraq. Ali Akbar Bangwar, his father, was a DIG in Pakistan.

Bangwar spent six years in London, where he earned his first degree in Fashion Design & Marketing from AIU London and his second degree LLB from University of London.

MUSIC CAREER:

Bangwar spent his leisure time in the studios during his school days in London, where his demos were heard by Evan Rogers and afterwards shipped out to Interscope Records, where Jay Brown, an A&R executive at the record company, was one of the first to hear the demo. Hazim produced his debut mix tape under Interscope Records, “One Man Army,” in 2013, with the lead hit “Run Em,” which later serviced several artists, including Havana Brown.

Bangwar was offered a deal as a singer/songwriter by Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr under Young Money Entertainment after writing for singers such as Jessie J, Future, Ciara, Juelz, T-Pain, Jason Derulo, and Nick Minaj.

Bangwar released his debut song, “Haram,” in November 2019, and it charted at #5 in South Korea, #1 in Hungary, #2 in Egypt, and #5 in India. Bangwar became the first Pakistani artist to hit the worldwide charts with an English song as a result of this achievement.

Bangwar released his second single, “Hell Ya,” in February 2020, earning him the number one slot in Ghana music charts, the number two spot in France, the number one spot in South Korea, and the number one spot in Austria. He published his debut Urdu song, “Tujhko Bhulaya,” in 2021.

Bangwar qualified for the SPSC Examination and was appointed as a PMS Officer upon his return to Pakistan. He is now the Karachi Central Assistant Commissioner.
