Karachi – The Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) plea the Sindh government to give top priority to the allocation of development budgets for industrial zones. Johar Qandhari, President of KATI, emphasized this need, especially considering past practices.

Notable meetings have taken place between provincial cabinet members, including Saeed Ghani, Nasir Hussain Shah, Sharjeel Inam Memon, and Jam Khan Shoro, and Korangi’s industrialists.

There is optimism that the current cabinet will address the challenges faced by the industrial sector more effectively than its predecessors.

President Qandhari expressed concerns about new extortion tactics against industrialists. He urged Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar, the provincial interior minister, to take decisive action to restore investor confidence.
