Portuguese football legend Cristiano Ronaldo has hinted that he may retire from professional football while playing for his current club, Al-Nassr. However, he remains uncertain about when this will happen.
“I don’t know if I will retire soon, in two or three years… but probably I will retire here at Al-Nassr,” Ronaldo said in an interview with Portuguese TV channel NOW.
Ronaldo, who is 39 years old, expressed his contentment with his current situation. “I’m very happy at this club. I feel good in this country too. I’m happy to play in Saudi Arabia, and I want to continue,” he added.

Ronaldo has also dismissed the idea of transitioning into a coaching role. “At the moment, I’m not thinking about being a coach of the first team or any team,” he said. “It doesn’t even cross my mind. I’ve never thought about it. I don’t see my future going through that.”
Instead, Ronaldo focuses on contributing to his national team. He is preparing for the upcoming Nations League games under the management of Roberto Martinez. “What I want now is to be able to help the national team,” Ronaldo stated.
Looking beyond football, Ronaldo hinted at exploring new avenues. “I see myself doing other things outside of football, but only God knows what the future holds,” he said.
