OpenAI Launches Advanced AI Models for Complex Problem Solving

OpenAI, backed by Microsoft (MSFT.O), announced on Thursday the launch of new AI models aimed at tackling complex problems in fields like science, coding, and math. The models, named o1 and o1-mini, are designed to spend more time processing tasks, improving their ability to reason and solve harder problems compared to previous versions.

Starting Thursday, the o1 model will be available in ChatGPT and its API, allowing developers and users to access this advanced problem-solving capability.
