In a significant escalation, Yemeni forces launched a major attack on U.S. Navy warships in the Red Sea in retaliation for ongoing Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon and Palestine. Brigadier General Yahya Sari, spokesperson for the Yemeni forces, confirmed that three American destroyers were targeted as they moved towards Israeli-occupied territories to support Israel.

According to Brigadier General Sari, the coordinated attack involved the navy, air force, and army, utilizing 23 ballistic and winged missiles. Drones were also deployed to reinforce the assault. The general emphasized that this large-scale offensive was part of Yemen’s broader strategy in response to the regional conflict.

Ongoing Retaliation

The Yemeni military spokesperson made it clear that these attacks will continue. He continued that attacks will not end until Israeli strikes on Gaza cease. He also mentions about the humanitarian aid reaches the Palestinian population. Brigadier General Sari stated, “Our operations will persist until Tel Aviv halts its aggression and allows aid to flow into Gaza.”

Broader Resistance

Meanwhile, in Iraq, resistance forces targeted a key location within Israeli-occupied territories using drones. This attack marks another front in the expanding regional confrontation, as groups aligned with Palestinian resistance movements retaliate against Israeli military actions.

The situation is rapidly intensifying, with multiple factions joining forces across the region. The U.S. Navy, engaged in supporting Israel, now faces mounting threats in the Red Sea and beyond, potentially reshaping the geopolitical landscape.
