Biden Believes ‘All-Out War’ in Middle East Can Be Avoided
When asked how confident he was about avoiding a full-scale conflict.
U.S. President Joe Biden expressed his belief that the current situation in the Middle East will not lead to an “all-out war.” The region remains tense, with Israel launching assaults in Gaza and Lebanon, and escalating tensions with Iran.
When asked how confident he was about avoiding a full-scale conflict, Biden responded cautiously.
“How confident are you it’s not going to rain? Look, I don’t believe there is going to be an all-out war,” Biden told reporters.
He added, “But there is a lot to do yet, a lot to do yet.” When asked about the possibility of sending U.S. troops to assist Israel, he said, “We have already helped Israel. We are going to protect Israel.”
