Share the latest news updates

The ongoing war in Gaza has claimed the lives of at least 42,344 Palestinians, according to the Health Ministry. The conflict has left 99,013 others injured. In the past 24 hours alone, Israeli attacks resulted in the deaths of at least 55 individuals.

Officials estimate that the actual death toll may be much higher, with thousands of bodies believed to be buried beneath the rubble of destroyed buildings. A recent drone strike by a Lebanese militant group targeted an Israeli army base in northern Israel, killing four soldiers and injuring dozens more.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu acknowledged the “painful” losses suffered by his military but emphasized that operations against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon would intensify. In the latest strikes, over 40 Palestinians were reported killed in various locations across the Gaza Strip. Israeli forces have escalated their assault around Jabalia, the largest refugee camp in Gaza.

Palestinian health officials reported that at least 11 people died from Israeli fire near al-Faluja in Jabalia. Additionally, 10 others were killed in Bani Suheila in eastern Khan Younis when an Israeli missile struck a residential house.

12 Individuals Missing

Earlier on Tuesday, an Israeli airstrike destroyed three houses in the Sabra suburb of northern Gaza City. Two bodies have been recovered, and search efforts continue for 12 individuals believed to be missing under the rubble.

The violence also spread to the Nuseirat camp in central Gaza, where five people were killed in an Israeli strike. In the occupied West Bank, Israeli troops killed one armed individual and arrested three others following a clash. An army statement confirmed the killing of another Palestinian fighter during a close-quarters firefight in Qabatiya, south of Jenin.

The Israeli military conducted operations across the occupied West Bank, arresting approximately 20 individuals and seizing weapons and ammunition. The Palestinian Health Ministry reported two additional deaths during a large-scale incursion in Jenin. Reports indicated that seven members of the al-Sayed family were killed, with their bodies buried in their family home in the al-Faluja area of the Jabalia refugee camp.

400,000 Residents Remain Trapped

In northern Gaza, about 400,000 residents remain trapped under an Israeli military siege that began 11 days ago. Reports indicate that Israel faces a shortage of air defense missiles, prompting the government to seek assistance from the United States. According to the Financial Times, the Israeli military is relying on the US to replenish its defensive capabilities.

THAAD Anti-missile System

The US recently announced the deployment of the THAAD anti-missile system to Israel amid escalating tensions with Iran. Earlier this month, Iran launched a series of missiles at Israel in retaliation for targeted assassinations of Hamas and Hezbollah leaders, as well as an Iranian general.

Following these events, Israel threatened to respond militarily to Iran, a move analysts warn could further escalate the conflict. Netanyahu’s office stated, “We listen to the opinions of the United States, but we will make our final decisions based on our national interests.”

Israel has vowed to retaliate against the Iranian missile attack, with Defence Minister Gallant asserting that the response would be “deadly, precise, and surprising.” Meanwhile, a recent airstrike in southern Gaza killed at least 10 family members while they were asleep, further adding to the rising death toll.

The situation remains dire as violence continues to sweep through the war-torn region, with dozens of Palestinians reported killed in early strikes on Tuesday.
