The Malaysian PM emphasized the severity of the violence, which he said underscored the continuing threat posed by extremism. “These acts of utter ruthlessness and violence remind us of the relentless threats posed by extremism and ideological rigidity—forces that undermine progress and peace in Muslim societies,” he said.
Turkey Condemns Attack and Offers Support
The Turkish government condemned the attack in the strongest terms. The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed condolences and wished a swift recovery to the injured. “We will continue to support Pakistan in its fight against terrorism,” the ministry stated.
