Israel Attacks North Gaza Shelter After Allowing UN Aid
Israel Blocks Aid to Gaza

Israel has blocked nearly all UN attempts to deliver essential aid to northern Gaza this month. The UN’s Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) reports Israel has denied or restricted food and medical assistance for thousands of besieged residents.
On November 11, Israel briefly allowed a World Food Programme (WFP) convoy into Gaza. The mission included two trucks with ready-to-eat meals and wheat flour, plus one truck of bottled water. Aid reached Mahdia al-Shawwa School and a nearby public shelter, both packed with displaced Palestinians.
Soon after the aid delivery, Israeli forces reportedly surrounded the shelter area, shelled it, and forced residents to flee. Palestinian media claim Israeli forces later set Mahdia al-Shawwa School on fire and destroyed it.
In East Jerusalem’s Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, Israeli settlers reportedly set Palestinian vehicles ablaze. Verified videos show cars on fire in predawn attacks. Local media say these incidents occurred during heightened tensions in the area.
These actions add to the growing humanitarian crisis in Gaza and escalating violence in occupied territories.
