“I have heard various allegations against me, and I have come to accept them. Yes, it’s true that I was born in a Hindu household, and it’s also true that I married a Muslim man,” she said.
She added, “Another truth I want to share is that respect for Prophet Muhammad ﷺ resides in the heart and is not dependent on the community one is born into.”
