Chairman of the Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSE), Syed Sharaf Ali Shah, has announced the results for SSC-Part I (Class IX) Science and General Group Regular and Private Annual Examinations 2024.
Students can view their results on the board’s official website at www.bsek.edu.pk. The announcement was made during a press briefing at the board office.
Science Group Performance
A total of 176,784 students registered for the Science Group examinations. Out of these, 173,461 appeared in the exams.
Pass Statistics:

- 120,592 students passed all papers.
- 23,525 passed six papers.
- 10,154 cleared five papers.
- 7,448 passed four papers.
- 4,099 cleared three papers.
- 2,344 passed two papers.
- 1,327 passed only one paper.
The overall pass percentage for the Science Group stood at 69.52%.

General Group Results
The General Group, which includes both regular and private candidates, saw 16,753 students enrolled. Of these, 15,745 appeared in the exams. The board has yet to release detailed pass statistics for this group.
Improved Digital Access
Syed Sharaf Ali Shah emphasized the importance of providing students with easy access to their results. He noted that the board’s website is designed to handle high traffic, ensuring all students can check their results without technical issues.
The chairman congratulated successful candidates and urged those who didn’t pass to remain determined. He highlighted the board’s initiatives to improve educational standards and support struggling students.
