The report also highlighted violent crimes, with 478 people losing their lives in various incidents. Kidnapping for ransom was reported 19 times, while 80 cases of extortion came to light. Eleven police personnel were martyred, and 105 citizens were killed during robbery resistance attempts. These figures reveal the multifaceted security challenges Karachi faces alongside its traffic woes.
