Israeli warplanes launched a series of airstrikes on Syrian military sites, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR). The attacks targeted factories belonging to the Syrian air force and weapons warehouses near Damascus.
Extensive Targets Across Syria
The strikes hit multiple locations, including Aleppo, Deir Az Zor, Hama, Homs, Al-Hasakah, Latakia, and Damascus. Other areas affected were Rif Dimashq, Deraa, al-Quneitra, and Aleppo. The SOHR reported that all targeted sites were rendered inoperable.

Air Defences Disabled
The SOHR stated the attacks caused Syria’s air defence systems to completely shut down. Military assets and facilities in these regions were reportedly destroyed or severely damaged.
Damage to Military Infrastructure
The airstrikes focused on factories producing weapons and ammunition. Warehouses storing arms were also destroyed. The attacks are said to have significantly weakened Syria’s military capabilities in the targeted areas.
Ongoing Regional Tensions
The airstrikes come amid heightened tensions in the region. Israel has frequently targeted sites in Syria, claiming they house Iranian forces or proxy groups posing threats to Israeli security.
