Prime Minister’s Advisor on Political Affairs, Rana Sanaullah, stated that talks with PTI could result in mutually beneficial points for both sides.

Rana Sanaullah acknowledged that political differences are inevitable. He stressed, however, that both sides must agree on national interests. He clarified that neither the government will accept all of PTI’s demands, nor will PTI accept everything the government proposes.

Rana Sanaullah emphasized that the goal of negotiations would be to find issues that could lead to practical solutions. He pointed out that once PTI presents its demands clearly, the government will review the procedures and respond with written suggestions.

PTI’s Demands Still Awaited

Rana Sanaullah was asked about PTI’s call for the release of its leader. He questioned whether such a matter could be discussed directly with the Prime Minister. He added that once PTI’s demands are clearly laid out, the government will ask for clarification on the process and will respond in writing.

Rana Sanaullah expressed his expectation that PTI will present its Charter of Demands by January 2. Once PTI formalizes its demands, the government will have a better idea of how long negotiations will take.

Schools and Madrasah Registration Bill

Rana Sanaullah mentioned that Maulana Fazlur Rehman had stated there would be no objection to madrasahs that wish to register with the Ministry of Education. He confirmed that efforts are underway to resolve issues related to madrasah registration. The legal team is reviewing the bill to find an appropriate solution.

Government’s Position on Future Steps

Rana Sanaullah reassured the public that the government is addressing all matters seriously. He added that the government is working to resolve issues in a way that will ensure political stability and national progress. He expressed hope that negotiations will conclude successfully and that both sides will manage political differences without further escalation.
