SBP Sets December 31 as Final Deadline for Prize Bonds

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced that holders of Rs25,000 and Rs40,000 prize bonds must redeem them by December 31. A spokesperson for SBP emphasized that no requests for redemption or exchange will be entertained after this date. The deadline also applies to Rs15,000 and Rs7,500 prize bonds. Bondholders have been urged to act promptly to avoid missing out on this final opportunity.

Prize bonds can be returned to SBP offices, Banking Services Corporation branches, or any commercial bank across the country. The process for redemption is straightforward, with all authorized centers instructed to facilitate bondholders efficiently. The SBP has encouraged individuals to take the necessary steps early to avoid the usual last-minute rushes.

The spokesperson clarified that this decision aligns with government efforts to streamline financial instruments and maintain transparency. While clear instructions will be displayed at all designated locations, additional assistance will be available for those facing difficulties during the redemption process.

Prize Bond Draw Schedule 2025 Announced

The National Savings Division has revealed the Prize Bond Draw Schedule for 2025. The first balloting will take place on January 15 for Rs750 bonds in Karachi, marking the start of a series of draws that will continue throughout the year. The final balloting for Rs200 bonds will be held on December 15 in Lahore.

The 2025 schedule includes events in various cities, such as draws for Rs100 bonds in Multan in February, Rs200 bonds in Faisalabad in March, and Rs1,500 bonds in Karachi in May. These draws are spread across the year to provide participants with multiple chances to win.

Premium bonds are also included in the schedule. The first draw for Rs40,000 premium bonds is scheduled for March 10 in Quetta, while Rs25,000 premium bonds will have their first draw on the same day in Muzaffarabad. Other cities like Hyderabad, Peshawar, Sialkot, and Faisalabad will host premium bond draws later in the year.

Recent Rs200 Prize Bond Results

The Rs200 prize bond draw, held on December 16 in Sialkot, attracted significant attention from bondholders. The first prize of Rs750,000 was awarded to ticket number 746219. The second prize, worth Rs250,000, was shared among five winners with ticket numbers 108108, 310560, 723668, 892569, and 937806. The third prize of Rs1,250 was distributed among several bondholders, ensuring widespread participation and excitement.

Prize bonds remain a popular investment choice in Pakistan. Regular draws provide individuals with opportunities to win substantial prizes, with the process overseen by government authorities to ensure fairness and transparency. Bondholders are encouraged to stay updated on draw schedules and results to maximize their chances of winning.
