According to Israeli media reports, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu underwent surgery in a multi-story underground hospital ward due to extreme security concerns. The operation lasted over two hours, and Netanyahu is expected to remain in the underground ward for several days.
Prostate Surgery Due to Infection
Israeli media revealed that Netanyahu had been suffering from prostate-related issues for over a decade. In 2014, he underwent treatment for the condition, which was kept secret at the time. The public was not informed about the treatment before, during, or even after it took place.
The revelation of his treatment came in June 2015 through an Israeli media report. According to the report, Netanyahu visited the hospital twice for the treatment, with his transport conducted like a covert operation.
In one instance, he was secretly brought to the hospital disguised in a vehicle used for delivering pita bread.

Netanyahu’s Fear Leads to Underground Surgery
For his second visit to the hospital, Netanyahu was reportedly hidden in a pest control company’s van. During this operation, his security personnel disguised themselves as pest control workers.
It is worth noting that the Israeli Prime Minister has consistently insisted that he is in perfect health. His office regularly released videos and photos of him visiting frontlines to reinforce this claim.
However, this narrative took a hit last year when Netanyahu’s doctors revealed that he had been suffering from heart disease for a long time but had kept it hidden from the public. Due to this condition, he was fitted with a pacemaker.
Earlier this year, Netanyahu was also hospitalized for hernia surgery.
