Dubai Art Season 2025 is set to captivate audiences with its diverse artistic and cultural experiences. Under the theme Take a Walk on the Art Side, the season runs from 4 January to 20 April 2025, showcasing Dubai’s growing reputation as a global hub for art, creativity, and talent. Organized by Dubai Culture and Arts Authority under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, this season will bring together a vibrant mix of festivals, exhibitions, and performances.

Opening with Al Marmoom: Film in the Desert

The season begins with the fourth edition of Al Marmoom: Film in the Desert, running from 4 to 12 January 2025. This festival embraces the theme Stories at One with Nature and focuses on the sustainability of the regional film industry. Attendees can look forward to an engaging lineup of films, live performances, workshops, talks, and immersive experiences. The festival also features competitions, a digital art exhibition, and a marketplace offering local food and beverages.

Al Quoz Arts Fest

On 25 and 26 January, the twelfth edition of the Al Quoz Arts Fest will bring Al Quoz Creative Zone and Alserkal Avenue to life. With over 200 events, the festival includes musical performances, cultural activities, and interactive art installations, providing a dynamic platform for artists and audiences alike.

Emirates Airline Festival of Literature

Starting on 29 January and running until 3 February 2025, the seventeenth edition of the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature will gather writers, creatives, and thinkers from around the globe. This festival will take place at InterContinental Hotel Festival City. It will feature 150 events, the festival includes author talks, panel discussions, workshops, and unique highlights such as Desert Stanzas and LitFest After Hours. The Bil Emirati section celebrates UAE culture through Emirati and international voices, including Adel Khozam, Asmaa Al Remithi, and Nahla Al Fahad.

Sikka Art and Design Festival

From 31 January to 9 February 2025, the Sikka Art and Design Festival will transform Al Shindagha Historic Neighborhood into a hub of visual arts and creativity. Emirati and resident artists will showcase distinctive works alongside musical performances. This festival will also include workshops, and talks, reflecting the cultural diversity of the region.

Art Dubai and Other Highlights

The season culminates with the eighteenth edition of Art Dubai, held from 18 to 20 April 2025 at Madinat Jumeirah. This iconic event will feature contemporary and international art across four sections: Contemporary, Modern, Bawwaba, and Art Dubai Digital. Visitors can engage in expert-led workshops and discussions while exploring curated galleries from around the world.

Throughout the season, Dubai Opera will host a series of musical and theatrical performances, spotlighting regional and international talent. These events underscore Dubai’s commitment to fostering creativity, connecting global audiences, and enriching the city’s cultural landscape.
