ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited the residence of Sindh’s Senior Minister Sharjeel Memon on Wednesday to congratulate him on the birth of his grandson. The meeting was a warm and cordial occasion, with Sharjeel Memon, who holds the portfolios of Information, Transport, and Mass Transit, and his son Rawal Sharjeel Memon welcoming the prime minister upon his arrival.

Discussion on National and Provincial Matters

During the visit, Prime Minister Sharif and Minister Memon engaged in discussions on a range of issues, including national and provincial matters. The prime minister expressed his happiness at the joyous occasion and conveyed his congratulations to the Memon family. Both leaders shared insights into ongoing developments and addressed pertinent matters affecting their respective regions.

Eco-Friendly Electric Taxis

In a separate development, the Sindh government has launched an initiative to provide eco-friendly electric taxis to the unemployed youth of the province. Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has instructed the Secretary of Transport, Asad Zaman, to work with banks and create financial models to facilitate easy installment plans for the youth. This initiative aims to create job opportunities while promoting environmentally friendly transportation in Sindh.

The prime minister was accompanied on his visit by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Federal Ministers Muhammad Aurangzeb, Mosaddiq Malik, and Atta Tarar. Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, Governor Kamran Tussori, Provincial Minister Saeed Ghani, and Special Assistant Qasim Naveed Qamar also joined the meeting.
