Emotional Setback

Ihsanullah initially announced his retirement from the PSL after being snubbed during the draft. Disappointed by the lack of interest from franchises, the 22-year-old made the decision in frustration. However, he later clarified that it was an emotional response.

“I made the statement in the heat of the moment,” Ihsanullah explained. “I was upset with the situation and my family’s reaction, but I won’t make that mistake again. My focus is now on working hard and proving myself worthy of selection.”

Past Success and Future Goals

Ihsanullah gained recognition during PSL 8, where he showcased his talent with impressive performances. Taking 22 wickets at an average of 15.77 and maintaining an economy rate of 7.59, he established himself as a rising star in Pakistan’s cricket scene. Despite concerns over his speed, Ihsanullah remains consistent, bowling at an average of 135 km/h.

Expressing gratitude for Multan Sultans’ continued support, Ihsanullah said, “This franchise has always stood by me, and I’m thankful for their belief in my abilities. However i will give my best to make a strong comeback.”

A New Chapter

With the backing of Ali Tareen and Multan Sultans, Ihsanullah is determined to overcome setbacks and rebuild his career. His journey from frustration to renewed determination highlights the importance of resilience in sports. As he prepares for the President Cup and intensive training, the young pacer’s story serves as an inspiration for aspiring cricketers striving to make their mark on the game.
