Kusal Mendis (Sri Lanka) topped the ODI run charts in 2024 with 742 runs. His remarkable innings of 143 against New Zealand secured a crucial victory for Sri Lanka.
Charith Asalanka (Sri Lanka), the captain of the team, contributed 605 runs while also picking up key wickets. His all-around abilities and leadership were instrumental in Sri Lanka’s success throughout the year.
Sherfane Rutherford (West Indies) made a memorable ODI debut, scoring 425 runs at a strike rate of 120.1 in just nine matches. With five consecutive fifty-plus scores, Rutherford established himself as a reliable middle-order batter.

Wanindu Hasaranga (Sri Lanka) led the bowling attack with 26 wickets. His 7/19 against Zimbabwe ranks among the best ODI performances of all time.
