Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir has dismissed recent statements by the Indian military as baseless and provocative. He assured that any hostile action against Pakistan would face a full-throttle response. His remarks came during the 267th Corps Commanders’ Conference held at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi.

Pakistan Army Stands Ready

The military leadership took serious note of India’s reckless statements, calling them irresponsible and harmful to regional stability. General Munir highlighted that such remarks reflect India’s growing frustration and an attempt to distract from internal issues and human rights violations in Indian-occupied Kashmir (IoK).

He made it clear that the Pakistan Army is fully prepared to defend the nation’s sovereignty. Any act of aggression, he warned, will be met with a strong and decisive response.

Situation Along LoC and Kashmir Solidarity

The conference also reviewed security conditions along the Line of Control (LoC) and the Working Boundary near Sialkot. The army reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Kashmiri people, condemning the ongoing human rights abuses in IoK.

Recognizing Kashmir as a serious threat to regional peace, the commanders stressed the importance of international intervention in addressing the violations against the Kashmiri population.

Concerns Over Afghan-Based Threats

The meeting also expressed grave concern over the continued use of Afghan soil by the banned group Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) to carry out attacks against Pakistan.

The military leadership urged Afghanistan’s interim government to take concrete steps against terrorist groups instead of issuing mere denials. Pakistan, they asserted, will take all necessary measures to defend its people from these threats.

Development and Stability in Balochistan

The conference emphasized the urgency of accelerating socio-economic development in Balochistan. It stressed the need to counter foreign-driven narratives of exclusion that aim to mislead the province’s youth.

The military leadership vowed that no one would be allowed to disrupt Balochistan’s peace. Any attempt to radicalize or manipulate the youth through foreign-sponsored proxies would be thwarted with full force, backed by the people of Balochistan.

Operational Readiness and Tribute to Martyrs

General Munir praised the army’s operational preparedness, highlighting the need for continuous mission-oriented training and joint exercises. He emphasized strengthening military cooperation in both conventional warfare and counter-terrorism operations.

The forum also paid tribute to the martyrs of the armed forces, law enforcement agencies, and citizens who have sacrificed their lives for Pakistan’s security and stability.

Pakistan’s Commitment to the Kashmir Cause

In a separate press conference, Federal Minister for Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Affairs Amir Muqam reaffirmed that Kashmir remains a top priority for the government. He stressed that Pakistan stands firmly behind Kashmiris in their struggle for self-determination.

Muqam condemned India’s continued human rights violations and highlighted the recent victory of a Muslim-majority party in the elections, proving that Kashmiris reject Indian rule.

To mark Kashmir Solidarity Day, Pakistan will hold rallies and events nationwide. In conclusion these will take place in major cities and Pakistani embassies worldwide, reinforcing support for the Kashmiri people.
