Pakistan and China have reaffirmed their commitment to counter–terrorism cooperation, emphasizing that any attempts to disrupt their strong relationship will fail. During President Asif Ali Zardari’s visit to China, both nations agreed to enhance security measures, safeguard Chinese personnel in Pakistan, and expand cooperation in multiple sectors, including defense, technology, and trade.
Commitment to Counter-Terrorism
Both countries condemned terrorist attacks targeting Chinese nationals in Pakistan. The Pakistani government pledged to intensify security efforts and ensure the safety of Chinese personnel, projects, and institutions. China acknowledged Pakistan’s sacrifices in combating terrorism and expressed its readiness to support Pakistan’s counter-terrorism capacity building.

Pakistan and China committed to advancing cooperation in artificial intelligence, big data, and communication technology. China will support Pakistan’s digital transformation and encourage its tech firms to expand their presence in the country.
