The National Bank Stadium Karachi is ready for a spectacular inauguration after a massive renovation completed in just 120 days.

President Zardari to Lead Inauguration Ceremony

President Asif Ali Zardari will be the chief guest at the event, which will be open to the public free of charge. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi confirmed that the stadium’s reconstruction began on September 28, 2024, and was completed by January 31, 2025. In conclusion the extensive renovation has modernized the stadium, making it ready to host major international events.

The stadium has undergone a complete transformation, including:

Pavilion building completely rebuilt
New seating installed in all enclosures
Upgraded LED lighting system
Modern digital scoreboard screens

New pedestrian bridge and color-coded road
Barriers removed for better views

Musical Performances and Spectacular Fireworks

The inauguration event will feature performances by top artists Ali Zafar, Shafqat Amanat Ali, and Sahir Ali Bagga. .
