PM Invites Bahraini Investors to Boost Pakistan’s Economy

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has invited Bahraini investors to explore Pakistan’s business-friendly environment, underscoring the strong historical and economic ties between the two nations. He made this statement during a meeting with an 11-member Bahraini parliamentary delegation led by Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, Speaker of Bahrain’s Council of Representatives, in Islamabad.

Strengthening Pakistan-Bahrain Relations

During the meeting, the prime minister sent best wishes to Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s dedication to strengthening bilateral ties and noted the shared historical, cultural, and religious connections between both countries.

Prime Minister Sharif highlighted the importance of enhancing diplomatic and economic cooperation. “Parliamentary exchanges deepen relationships, and initiatives like these further strengthen our brotherly ties,” he said.

Investment Opportunities in Pakistan

He also acknowledged the role of the Pakistani diaspora in Bahrain, emphasizing their significant contributions to various industries and services.

Discussion on Palestinian Solidarity

The prime minister urged Bahrain, Pakistan, and the broader Muslim world to intensify collective efforts to support Palestine and Gaza. He reiterated Pakistan’s solidarity with the Palestinian people and emphasized the importance of increasing humanitarian aid and diplomatic measures to address the ongoing crisis.

Key Officials at the Meeting

The meeting was attended by Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi, and senior government officials. They discussed ways to further enhance Pakistan-Bahrain cooperation across multiple sectors, reinforcing both countries’ commitment to stronger diplomatic and economic ties.

With this renewed invitation for investment, Pakistan aims to foster deeper economic collaboration and build on its longstanding relationship with Bahrain.
