QUETTA: Senior Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader Hafiz Hussain Ahmed passed away on Wednesday after battling a prolonged illness, his son Munir Ahmed confirmed.
Ahmed had been suffering from kidney disease for a long time, his son said. The family will announce details of his funeral prayer and burial later.
Molana Fazlur Rehman Pays Tribute
Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Molana Fazlur Rehman expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Hafiz Sahib. He prayed for the acceptance of Hafiz Sahib’s services and contributions. He said, “In the blessed moments of Ramadan, presenting oneself before Allah Almighty is surely a means of great honor and elevation of ranks.”
He extended his heartfelt condolences to Hafiz Sahib’s family, loved ones, and JUI-F workers. He acknowledged the deceased leader’s dedication and unwavering struggle for the cause of Islam and justice. He described Hafiz Sahib as a leader who had always been a voice of wisdom and a man of strong ideology.

“In this moment of grief, I stand with the bereaved family,” he said. He prayed that Allah Almighty grants them the strength to bear this loss with patience.
The JUI-F leader encouraged all followers and well-wishers to continue Hafiz Sahib’s mission of service and dedication. He expressed hope that his legacy would live on through the commitment and unity of his followers.
