The ceremony began with a presidential salute as the national anthem played. President Zardari arrived in a traditional chariot, escorted by his bodyguards on horseback, adding a touch of grandeur to the occasion.

The Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and service chiefs extended heartfelt congratulations to the nation. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), military leaders reaffirmed their commitment to defending Pakistan’s sovereignty and strengthening democratic institutions.

They highlighted the unwavering resolve of the Pakistani people, emphasizing that with determination and divine guidance, Pakistan will continue to move forward.
