Islamabad United has brought in Alex Carey as a partial replacement for Rassie van der Dussen in the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10. The South African batter will miss a few matches due to personal reasons, prompting the team to draft Carey during the online player replacement draft on Monday.
Key Replacements Across Teams
Carey, a wicketkeeper-batter, joins Islamabad United to strengthen their squad. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed the move in an official statement.
Meanwhile, Peshawar Zalmi has signed George Linde as a full replacement for Corbin Bosch in the Diamond category. Bosch opted out of PSL 10 to join Mumbai Indians for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 18th edition.
Peshawar Zalmi also secured a Gold category replacement pick for Nahid Rana during the draft. Similarly, Karachi Kings reserved their pick for Litton Das, who was initially drafted in the Silver category.
Quetta Gladiators and Karachi Kings Secure More Picks
In addition to Litton Das, Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators have retained replacement picks for Kane Williamson and Mark Chapman, selected in the Supplementary and Platinum categories, respectively. These changes ensure the teams have solid alternatives as they prepare for the tournament.

PSL 10 Schedule and Key Fixtures
PSL 10 kicks off on April 11, with defending champions Islamabad United facing Lahore Qalandars at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The tournament will feature 34 matches from April 11 to May 18.
Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium will host 13 matches, including the two Eliminators and the final. Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will stage 11 matches, including Qualifier 1 on May 13.
Karachi’s National Bank Stadium and Multan Cricket Stadium will each host five matches.
Before the main event, an exhibition match will take place on April 8 in Peshawar.
Double-Headers and National Holiday Matches
PSL 10 will feature three double-headers. Two will be held on Saturdays, while the third will take place on Labour Day (May 1).
