As the holy month progresses, the third Ashra (last 10 days) of Ramadan is known for seeking refuge from the Hellfire. The following supplication (dua) is commonly recited during this period:
Transliteration: Allahumma ajirni min an-naar
Translation: “O Allah, save me from the Hellfire.”
May your fasts and prayers be accepted during this blessed month.
Dua for Breaking the Fast (Iftar Dua)
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to say the following dua before eating at Iftar:
Transliteration:
Allahumma inni laka sumtu wa bika aamantu wa ‘alayka tawakkaltu wa ‘ala rizq-ika aftartu.
