PIA Launches Direct Flights from Lahore to Baku to Boost Tourism and Trade

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced the launch of Lahore to Baku flights, marking a new chapter in Pakistan’s international travel connectivity. Starting April 20, 2025, the national carrier will operate direct flights twice a week, every Sunday and Wednesday, between Lahore and the Azerbaijani capital, Baku. This strategic move is aimed at enhancing tourism and strengthening economic ties between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.

To celebrate and promote this milestone, PIA hosted a special event in Karachi dedicated to travel agents and tour operators. Attendees received updates on flight schedules, onboard services, and future travel prospects between the two countries.
