Palestinian MFA Warns of Masjid Al-Aqsa Demolition Plans by Israel
Israeli Airstrike Kills Paralysed Child in Gaza

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has raised serious concerns about recent settler-led incitement to demolish Masjid Al-Aqsa and replace it with a temple. Meanwhile, in Gaza, a 12-year-old paralysed boy was burned alive in an Israeli missile attack on a tent camp for displaced civilians, killing 11 people in total.
Al-Aqsa Mosque Under Threat
According to a statement published on X (formerly Twitter), the Palestinian foreign ministry condemned what it described as Hebrew-language discussions on settler platforms calling for the destruction of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The ministry labelled the campaign as “systematic incitement” targeting Christian and Islamic holy sites in occupied East Jerusalem.
“The Ministry calls on the international community and its relevant UN institutions to deal with this incitement with utmost seriousness, and to take the measures required by international law,” the statement urged.
The warning comes amid rising tensions in Jerusalem and growing fears over provocations at sacred sites during religious observances.
Israeli Airstrike Kills Disabled Boy and Family Members
In a separate and tragic development, Ahmed Abu al-Rous, a 12-year-old boy born with paralysis, was killed in an Israeli airstrike on a tent camp sheltering displaced Palestinians in Gaza.
The missile strike burned his wheelchair to ashes and killed 10 others, including his mother, sister, and four more children, according to a report by Al Jazeera.
The attack took place in a civilian-populated area where hundreds of families had taken refuge after being forced to flee Israeli bombardment elsewhere.
Mounting Civilian Toll and Calls for Accountability
Both incidents reflect the deepening humanitarian crisis and escalating violence in the occupied Palestinian territories. The Palestinian leadership has once again called on the United Nations and global powers to act swiftly and prevent further desecration of religious sites and protect civilians, especially vulnerable children.
International human rights organisations have repeatedly criticised the use of indiscriminate force in civilian areas and warned of potential violations of international humanitarian law.
As tensions surge across occupied Palestine, the world watches closely. The threat to Al-Aqsa Mosque and the deaths of innocent civilians in Gaza, especially disabled children, underline the urgent need for diplomatic intervention and accountability.
