In a major boost to Pakistan’s border security efforts, Pakistan anti-terror operations have successfully eliminated 71 militants during a three-day operation near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. The latest clash, between April 27 and 28 in North Waziristan’s Hassan Khel area, saw security forces neutralize 17 more terrorists reportedly acting under “Indian masters.” The army remains determined to protect the nation’s borders against infiltration threats.

Security Forces Achieve Major Success

According to an ISPR statement, the sanitisation operation followed earlier engagements in which 54 militants were killed between April 25 and 27. Security forces recovered a large cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives, preventing planned attacks inside Pakistan.

Terrorists Linked to Foreign Plots

The ISPR revealed that the eliminated militants were operating on orders from external handlers, aiming to destabilize Pakistan. Intelligence sources confirmed that the group’s objective was to launch major attacks within the country. By acting swiftly, Pakistan’s forces disrupted these dangerous plans.
