Quetta Gladiators delivered a crushing performance in PSL 10, dismantling Multan Sultans by 10 wickets in a completely one-sided contest at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium on Tuesday. Chasing a paltry target of 90 runs, the Gladiators finished the game in just 6.5 overs without losing a single wicket.

Openers Finn Allen and Saud Shakeel wasted no time. Allen smashed two sixes and a four off David Willey in the third over, launching an aggressive assault that had the Gladiators racing to 74 runs by the end of the powerplay. The duo remained unbeaten, finishing the job with flair. Allen’s explosive 45* came off just 21 balls and featured five sixes and two fours. Saud Shakeel’s 42* off 20 balls included four sixes and three fours, wrapping up a flawless chase.

Multan’s Collapse

Earlier, Multan Sultans crumbled under pressure after being sent in to bat. They were bowled out for just 89 runs in 17 overs. Quetta’s bowlers, led by Khurram Shahzad, ripped through the batting lineup with clinical precision. Shahzad claimed 4 wickets for 23 runs in his four overs, dismantling the top order early.

Yasir Khan fell in the second over for five runs. Usman Khan followed him with a golden duck, and Kamran Ghulam managed only three. Debutant Curtis Campher was trapped LBW, leaving Multan reeling at 20 for four.

Rizwan Left Alone

Skipper Mohammad Rizwan tried to hold the innings together, scoring an unbeaten 44, but received little support. Iftikhar Ahmed made six before falling. Michael Bracewell, David Willey, and Usama Mir added minimal runs, while Hasnain and Ubaid Shah couldn’t offer resistance.
