The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) issued the call for observance, which has been widely supported by pro-freedom leaders and organizations.

Symbol of Resistance
In a statement from Srinagar, APHC Vice Chairman Ghulam Ahmed Gulzar emphasized the purpose of the day.In conclusion He said the planned strike and march serve as a firm message to India and the global community: Kashmiris remain committed to their struggle and will not surrender to occupation.
Gulzar highlighted that the freedom movement, watered by the blood of martyrs, stands resilient against suppression. He urged the international community to break its silence and pressure India to honor its obligations under United Nations resolutions.
Repression Continues in Occupied Kashmir
Meanwhile, the Indian government has intensified its crackdown in the occupied region. Authorities recently seized properties belonging to four Kashmiris in Ganderbal and Bandipora under the controversial Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. This adds to a series of actions widely criticized for targeting local resistance and silencing dissent.
